Mr.H.Arumugam For R-2 : Mr.P.Srinivas COMMON JUDGMENT [Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Challenge in the writ appeals is to the order of the Writ Court, dated 09.02.2023, rejecting the claim of the writ petitioners along with others on the ground that they are only licencees and they cannot resist the action of the municipality in demolishing the old market and putting up a new market. The writ appeals were filed with a delay. In the interregnum, the entire market complex has been demolished and new construction has also been commenced. We do not find any reason to entertain these writ appeals and therefore, the same are dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
