This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme i.e., Adal Padal Dance Programme on 16.06.2018 at 7.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. in the eve of Marriage Betrothal Vizha at Madakkaraipatti @ Veerasekarapuram, M.Pudur Post, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 09.06.2018 to the second respondent to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme i.e., Adal Padal Dance Programme on 16.06.2018 at 7.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. in the eve of Marriage Betrothal Vizha at Madakkaraipatti @ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Veerasekarapuram, M.Pudur Post, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.

Since no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 15.06.2018. The petitioner shall submit a copy of a representation dated 09.06.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.
