ORDER

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, even at the stage of admission.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner, based on the written representations dated 30.09.2024 and 07.11.2024 given to the respondents, has sought for issuance of patta. The petitioner has also relied on a judgment and decree in his favour in O.S.No.466 of 1984. According to the petitioner, he is in continuous and uninterrupted possession of the subject lands in respect of which, he seeks for patta.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has already been given patta in respect of 0.5 cents finding that he is in possession and in respect of 2/5

the remaining 2.5 cents, apart from the representations, the petitioner has not given mandatory online application.

5. In view of the giving liberty to the petitioner to make an appropriate online application in line with the prevailing rules and regulations and subject to payment of the requisite fee in that regard. The respondents shall consider the petitioner's applications dated 30.09.2024 and 07.11.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of online application.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
