Respondents Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in the above Crime No.75 of 2016 dated 25.01.2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Police Station, Tuticorin to any other nearby Station House Officer and consequently direct the above first respondent to monitor the investigation of the above case in Crime No.75 of 2016, dated 25.01.2016.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in the above Crime No.75 of 2016 dated 25.01.2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Police Station, Tuticorin to any other nearby Station House Officer and consequently direct the above first respondent to monitor the investigation of the above case in Crime No.75 of 2016, dated 25.01.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the F.I.R. in this case has been registered only on 25.01.2016 by virtue of the orders passed under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tuticorin.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that at present, the investigation is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Central Police Station, Tuticorin.

5. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the

F.I.R., I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case to transfer the investigation to any other agency, but it will serve the interest of justice, if the Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor the investigation. Accordingly, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tuticorin is directed to monitor the investigation in Cr.No.75 of 2016, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Police Station, Tuticorin.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
