ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is arrayed as the sole accused. She was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.06.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 302 of I.P.C., in Crime No.352 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police. She seeks bail.

2. Mr.Baskaran, Superintendent of Police, Theni District, appeared before me and in response to a question, he has a made a firm statement that no targets are issued for passing a given number of detention orders under the Goondas Act or any other new detention law. He has not been so instructed by his superior officers and nor he has refixed targets on his subordinates. He has made the statement "No targets are there". This statement has been made in the presence of Mr.K.Chellapandian, learned Additional Advocate General.

3. The Superintendent of Police produced a copy of the order dated 23.07.2018 revoking the detention order passed against the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submitted that the issue can be given a quietus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the order of revocation, no further order is necessary in the Criminal Original petition.
