O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner without due procedure of Law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) submits that on the complaint given by the aggrieved person, a case has been registered against the petitioner's wife. It is also submitted that seven previous cases were pending against the petitioner's wife. Therefore, the second respondent police require the assistance of the petitioner to trace his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ wife.

4. The petitioner is directed to participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, he shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
