ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents the District Collector, Revenue Divisional Officer, District Revenue Officer, and Tahsildar to provide approach road to an extent of 1380 feet pathway of the banks of the pond in S.No.574/5, Siruganur Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy, for public pathway. The petitioner had given a representation on 11.02.2023.

2. It is stated that in the aforementioned survey land, the Government is putting up Miyavakke forest and funds have also been allotted. The petitioner seeks right of pathway since if the forest is so put up, it, according to the petitioner, will block his ingress and egress. 2/4

3. The project is just going to commence. Saplings will have to be planted. They will have to grow and will have to become as a forest. Let the petitioner get details from the fourth respondent / Tahsildar in this regard. I am confident that some arrangements will also be done by the respondent. When they put up a forest, they will also think about the general public. In fact, the forest is put up in the Government land and they will regularize pathway around the forest for the petitioner and others. The petitioner may have a discussion with the fourth respondent in this regard. The project need not be kept pending. Let the project to put up a forest continue. If required, the petitioner can come to this Court again.

4. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
