ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant Destitute Widow Pension to the petitioner by considering her representation, dated 15.06.2015.

2. Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up final disposal. 4.It is averred in the petition filed in support of the Writ Petition that the the petitioner is a permanent resident of Vandiyur, Madurai. She was granted Destitute Widow Pension under the Government Policy and the same was paid to her from 2009 to February 2012. But all of a sudden, without any reason, the Destitute Widow Pension was stopped from March 2012 onwards. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the Village Administrative Officer and the respondent also on several occasions to restore the pension. Finally, on 15.06.2015, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent to restore the Destitute Widow Pension. But, till date, no action has been taken on the representation submitted by the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the Writ Petition for the above stated relief.

5. Considering the submission made, this Court directs the petitioner to approach the respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 15.06.2015, along with a copy of this order, within a period of one week. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
