ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi to expedite the trial in C.C.No.144 of 2023, within a time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the accused no.2 in the main case and the case is pending from the year 2022. Therefore, he has filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the case is posted for the appearance of the accused and if the Trial Court directs to produce the witnesses, they will cooperate for the speedy disposal of the case and they will produce the witnesses without any delay.

4. Considering the prayer of the petitioner, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi to expedite the trial in C.C.No.144 of 2023 and to dispose of the same without giving long adjournments beyond fifteen days.

5. With the above said direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
