[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to take any coercive steps to demolish the dwelling house owned by the petitioner, situated in survey No.348, Nagari Oorani, D.No. 2/197 Nagari Village, Ayyangkottai, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, the authorities issued a proceedings dated 30.09.2022, under the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, 1994, directing the petitioner to remove the encroachment within 21 days and hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said proceedings in the manner known to law.
