O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action on the respondents no. 7 to 9, for illegally obstructing the free flow of traffic in no.18/1, Edatherru Road, Varadaneri, Trichy District, by constructing a illegal metal gate, in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is running rice shop in the name and style of Star Rice Mill at 18/1, Edatherru Road, Varadaneri, Trichy District. While being so, the respondents 7 to 9, illegally erected post, to prevent the free flow of traffic in Edatherru Road, Varadaneri, Trichy District, without seeking any permission from the fourth respondent.
3.The learned counsel for the fourth respondent submitted that only the fourth respondent erected the post, to prevent the heavy vehicle traffic in the Edatherru Road, Varadaneri, Trichy District. In the said road so many vehicles are plying and as such, it causes hindrance to the general public, who walks around the road. As such, the fourth respondent instructed to erect post to prevent the heavy vehicle traffic, in the said road. Even now, except lorry, other big vehicle can easily ply over the road.
4.In this writ petition, there is no merits. Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
