Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders within a specified time frame on the petitioner's appeal dated 18.07.2015 against the orders passed in proceedings No.59803/A2/2013, dated 30.06.2015 of the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai and to further direct the respondents 2 and 3 to send pension proposals within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner viz.,V.Siriapushpam Eskalin, seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent namely, Secretary to Government, Registration Department, Chennai, to pass appropriate orders within a time frame on the petitioner's appeal dated 18.07.2015, which has been filed against the proceedings No.59803/A2/2013, dated 30.06.2015 of the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai and a further direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to send a pension proposal to the competent authority.

2.Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3.When the matter was taken up, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner limiting his prayer, requesting this Court to consider his request to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to send pension proposal at an early date.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's appeal filed against the order the 2nd respondent is pending.

5.As the petitioner has limited his prayer only for sending his pension proposal, this Court has no hesitation to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to send the pension proposal of the petitioner within a time frame. Accordingly, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to send the pension proposal of the petitioner within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
