O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to relay the roads in Ward No.44, K.K.Nagar, Madurai City, only after properly scrapping/milling the existing roads. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the case of the petitioner was already considered and the road was scrapped/ milled and cleaned, thereafter, the road was laid. 3.However, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the same was not carried out properly. For the next rainy season, again the roads were not in a condition to use. Since the road was not laid properly, water is accumulating.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that a letter, dated 12.05.2021, was issued by the Principal Secretary of the Government directing the respondents to carry out proper work before laying the road and has issued a circular prescribing the method to lay the road. Therefore, the respondents are directed to follow the said letter, dated 12.05.2021 in letter No.5916/H.N2/2021-1 in future. 5.With the above said observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
