PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide compassionate appointment to the petitioner either in the post of Road Worker or any other post as expeditiously as possible.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks appointment on compassionate grounds. Though the entitlement of the petitioner is not in doubt, the authorities will have to necessarily follow the queue principle. respondents submits that the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate orders would be passed based on the relevant norms.
