PRAYER: Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation pertaining to the case in Crime No. 71/2024 dated 05.05.2024 on the file of the third respondent to any other competent investigation agency within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation pertaining to the case in Crime No.71 of 2024 dated 05.05.2024 on the file of the third respondent to any other competent investigation agency. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an FIR in crime No. 71 of 2024 has been 2/5

registered, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 354C and 506(1) of IPC r/w Section 4 of TNPHW Act. After investigation, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kariyapatti. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. 3.Since the prayer is to transfer the investigation in the present FIR and now, the respondent police has completed the investigation and filed final report, the prayer cannot be considered at this stage and no further orders need to be passed.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this criminal original petition stands closed. 25.03.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 3/5
