Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.3228/2020/A1 dated 22.09.2020 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to restore the patta, layout, FMB etc., in Survey No.590/1 in Sub Division 590/9A1B to an extent of 12 cents situated at Navinipatti Village, N.Perumalpatti, Melur Taluk, Madurai District. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.3228/2020/A1 dated 22.09.2020 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to restore the patta, layout, FMB etc., in Survey No.590/1 in Sub Division 590/9A1B to an extent of 12 cents situated at Navinipatti Village, N.Perumalpatti, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the District Revenue Officer, Madurai, set aside the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Melur, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.G2/12173/2021, dated 23.04.2021.

W.P.(MD) No.9158 of 2021 3.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the District Revenue Officer, Madurai, he is at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to law. No costs.
