: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to furnish information relating to Jegananathan (7033) Sub Inspector of Police worked at the Vallam Police Station from 04.03.2014 to 23.03.2014 by disposing the second appeal dated 20.03.2018 pending on the file of the first respondent within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER
The petitioner has made a petition under the Right to Information Act to the third respondent. Since information was not provided, he filed an appeal to the Director General of Police, the second respondent herein. Even then, he did not get any information. That is why, he filed an appeal before the first respondent. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition seeking disposal of his appeal, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned counsel, takes notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.S.Nagarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the second and third respondents.
3. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the second appeal filed by the petitioner dated 20.03.2018, if any pending, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
