.. Respondents Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, directing the respondents to register the case on the petitioner's complaint, dated 07.03.2018 and 05.06.2018 and to investigate the same within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the case on the petitioner's complaint, dated 07.03.2018 and 05.06.2018 and to investigate the same within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2.According to the petitioner, he is working as Assistant in TNSTC at Kumbakonam Division. In the year 2015, one Edward, S/o.Singarayan, approached the petitioner and induced him to give lump sum stating that he had enough power to get jobs in Education and Transport Departments. Believing his words, during the year 2015, the petitioner collected money from his friends and relatives enabling them to get job and handed over the same to the above said accused. After receiving the same, he assured that he would arrange the job within three months. Thereafter, neither he did return the money nor arrange the job as assured by him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Hence, the petitioner made a complaint against the above said accused before the second respondent. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's complaint, the petitioner has approached this Court with the present Criminal Original Petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the complaint is pending for enquiry. 4.In view of the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the second respondent is directed to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law. In conducting the preliminary enquiry, he shall put the concerned parties upon notice. At the end thereof, if any cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent shall duly register a case and proceed in accordance with law, otherwise, further proceedings shall be dropped. In the event of effecting closure of the case upon conducting a petition enquiry, a copy of the closure report shall be forwarded to the complainant. The above said exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
