O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 20.12.2017 and investigate the same within the time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), on instructions, submitted that so far the petitioner has not approached the respondent police. Therefore, the statement made by the petitioner that he approached the respondent police on 20.12.2017 is not correct.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach the respondent police and make a fresh complaint. 4.Recording the above said submission made by both parties, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent and make a fresh complaint.
