Petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971, to punish the respondent for his deliberate and willful disobedience of the order of this honourable court made in W.P. (MD). 6567 of 2020 dated 12.08.2020 and pass such further or other orders as this honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.T.Selvan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.A.K.Manikkam Counsel For State For Respondent, this Court made the following order:

This application has been filed to reopen the Cont.P.(MD) No.1000 of 2020.

2. This Court, by order dated 22.01.2021, closed the Cont.P. (MD)No.1000 of 2020, recording the order passed by the respondent dated 10.02.2020.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that without issuing any notice or giving opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, the respondent has passed the order dated 10.02.2020, rejecting the representation of the petitioner and as per the order passed by the respondent, this Court has closed Contempt Petition. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present application seeking to reopen the Cont.P.(MD)No.1000 of 2020.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that as per the directions issued by this Court, the respondent has passed the order dated 10.02.2020. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order, it is open to him to challenge the same in the manner known to law. Therefore, the present application is not maintainable and the same is liable to be rejected.

Accordingly, this application is closed.
