Respondents PRAYER : Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the third respondent to produce the body of the detenue V.Aswini, aged about 17 years, daughter of Velmurugan, a resident of Kumarapuram, Thoopur, Marungur Post, Kanyakumari District before this Court and hand over the custody of the detenue to the Petitioner.

(Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.) The prayer in the Habeas Corpus Petition is to direct the third respondent to produce the body of the detenue V.Aswini, aged about 17 years, who is the daughter of the Petitioner and to set her at liberty forthwith.

2.Mr.V.Neelakandan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would state that based on the complaint of the Petitioner, a criminal case is registered in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.478 of 2020 Cr.No.11 of 2020 for the offence under Section 366(A) of IPC and she has been secured and produced before the concerned Judicial Magistrate.

3.Recording the above-said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
