Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct the Kidai Muttu (Goat Fight) sports event dated 28.05.2022, on the eve of the celebrating the birthday of the political party leader namely "Late.Kalaingar Karunanithi" in near to Ayyanar temple situates at Aviyur Village, Kariyappati Taluk, Virudhunagar District and also give adequate police protection by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2022.

(Made by R.VIJAYAKUMAR,J.) 1.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to permit the petitioner to conduct goat fight on 28.05.2022, on the basis of his representation dated 20.04.2022. 2.

Learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the third respondent has passed an order dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.8241 of 2022 26.04.2022 rejecting the representation of the writ petitioner, a copy of the said order has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the writ petitioner.

Since the representation of the petitioner has already been rejected by the authorities, no further order can be passed in this writ petition.

In view of above, this writ petition stands disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 26.04.2022, if so advised. No costs.
