ORDER

The above Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai to dispose the case in H.M.O.P.No.290 of 2016, within time frame, as fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent took place on 19.05.2016 and suppressing the fact that the respondent was a lung cancer patient, the marriage was taken place and there was no cohabitation between the petitioner and the respondent. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.290 of 2016, on the file of the Subordinate Court, Pudukkottai to declare the marriage as null and void and the same was pending before the trial Court. Hence, he seeks for earlier disposal of the petition.

3. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai to dispose the case in H.M.O.P.No.290 of 2016, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
