O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give permission and police protection for conducting temple festival Panguni Uthira Thiruvizha of Murugan Temple situated at Asoor Village on 05.04.2023 and to consider on the basis of his representation dated 24.03.2023.

2. Mr.B. Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 . By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that there was a dispute between the two groups of people over which the management of the temple. He would 2/5

further submit that on an earlier occasion a trouble has been made with regard to the same.

4. In order to resolve the issue, the Thasildar, Thiruverumbur is suo motu impleaded as 7th respondent in the Writ Petition. So the 7th respondent is directed to conduct a Peace Committee Meeting by fixing a date and intimate the same to the parties. The parties are directed to participate in the Peace Committee Meeting to be arranged by the Tahsildar, Thiruverumbur.

5. Depending upon the out come of the resolution to be adopted in the Peace Committee Meeting, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceeding if still aggrieved. The entire process shall be completed within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 31.03.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No 3/5
