ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.123 of 2022, on the file of the third respondent to the second respondent.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint that his minor daughter aged about 14 years was missing. On receipt of the complaint, the third respondent registered an FIR in Crime No. 123 of 2022 under 'girl missing'.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) submitted that thereafter, the petitioner's daughter was rescued by the third respondent from the accused and recorded her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. Thereafter, the offences were altered under Sections 5 and 6 of the POCSO Act as against the accused persons on 12.04.2022. Now the investigation is under progress and the third respondent is taking steps to secure accused. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the above submission, the third respondent is directed to secure the accused and proceed against him in accordance with law and complete the investigation within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file the final report.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
