This petition is filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Crime No.198 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same in respect of this petitioner.

2.The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.198 of 2018, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 427 and 506(i) of IPC. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 3 year, no progress has been made and final report has not yet been filed.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.114 of 2019 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and Final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.2, Padmanathapuram, and the same was taken on file as CC No.310 of 2019.

4.Since final report has been filed, the petitioner has to work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings before the concerned Court.

5.With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
