O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking quashment of Crime No.141 of 2018, on the file of the 1st Respondent Police Station. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 10.11.2021, the learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that conciliation process was going on between the parties. For the purpose of intimating the outcome of the conciliation process, the matter was listed today even though, there was no representation for the second respondent.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioners has produced a copy of the Lok-Adalat Award that has been passed, on 01.03.2019. By which, the parties entered into amicable settlement. So, the second respondent is agreed to withdraw the complaint that has been given by him in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crime No.141 of 2018 on the file of the Thiruverumbur Police Station, Trichy District and in Crime No.698 of 2018, on the file of the Sessions Court Police Station, Trichy District.

4.The copy of the award shows that there was a amicable settlement between the parties as mentioned above. Even though, the second respondent has been served, none appeared on behalf of him.

5.In view of the Lok-Adalat Award, the First Information Report in Crime No.141 of 2018, pending on the file of the first respondent herein, is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
