ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Driver working in the second respondent office seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to promote him to the post of Forester in the Forest Department in terms of Government order in G.O.Ms.No.446, Environment and Forest (FR-II) department, dated 03.07.1990. 2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, he is eligible to be considered and promoted as a Forester on the basis of the above said Government Order. To the said effect, the petitioner has sent a representation to the second respondent on 01.09.2020 and sent a reminder on 24.10.2021 and 18.12.2021. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
