O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to withdraw and transfer the case in S.T.C.No.444 of 2018 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur to the Judicial Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai or any other competent Judicial Magistrate Court, Chennai.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the respondent having permanent residence at Chennai and the alleged transaction was also took at Chennai. Therefore, he seeks to transfer the case in S.T.C.No.444 of 2018 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Melur to any other Judicial Magistrate Court at Chennai.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has no objection to transfer the above case to any other Judicial Magistrate Court at Chennai.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to allow this petition. As a result, the case in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.1159 of 2019 S.T.C.No.444 of 2018 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur is withdrawn and the same is transferred to the file of the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
