PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.3 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.3 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 406 and 1/3

420 IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons have received a sum of Rs.7,40,000/- from the defacto complainant by assuring that they would arrange a job for him in Southern Railway.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. However, he has been implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to co-operate for interrogation.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, by order dated 16.04.2024, granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, enabling him to appear before the respondent Police for interrogation and posted this matter today.

5. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner has not appeared before the respondent Police for interrogation as directed by this Court.

6. Considering the conduct of the petitioner in not co-operating with the respondent Police for interrogation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
