ORDER
The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to award selection grade to the petitioner for completing 10 years of service in the Assistant Cadre, in view of the proceedings given by the 3rd respondent, dated 17.05.2012 to the 2nd respondent and consequently pay the arrears of salary with applicable interest from the year 2009 within a stipulated period.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

sent a proceedings, dated 17.02.2012, to the second respondent to award selection grade to the petitioner for completing 10 years of service in the Assistant Cadre and the same is still pending. Since no order has been passed, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition. 4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to pass orders on the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 17.05.2012, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
