ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the sole accused in crime No.144 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application on the same date of surrender.

2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the II Additional Sessions Court, PCR, Tirunelveli District, to consider the bail application of the petitioner in crime No.144 of 2026, dated 08.03.2026 on the file of the second respondent on the same date of surrender after giving the opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
