ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the investigation from the fourth respondent to the third respondent on the ground that F.I.R. was not registered on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. Only after the direction of issued by the concerned Court, F.I.R. was registered on 28.02.2026.
2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that after registration of the F.I.R., no progress has been made by the fourth respondent and hence, the present petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint as against his father in law and his father in law is arrayed as A1. A1 has already been arrested and remanded and they will file a final report within a period of one week. 2/4
4. Considering the above said facts, there shall be a direction to the respondents police to file a final report on or before 31.03.2026.
5. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
