Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to direct the 2nd respondent to issue a separate patta to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2014.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 23.12.2014 wherein and whereby he is seeking for grant of separate patta in respect of the land situated at Survey Nos.466/8, 467/11B, 467/15 covered under the joint patta numbers 1446 and 1556.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Needless to say that it is for the second respondent to consider the said representation after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2014 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
