ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A2 to A5, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.210 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution according to the defacto complainant is that the petitioners along with other accused cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.8,00,000/-. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioners along with co-accused are involved in similar cases and in this regard, the petitioners along with co-accused already filed Crl.M.P.Nos.783, 784, 785 and 789 of 2023 and all are pending before the Principal District Court, Madurai.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and the petitioners filed this petition suppressing the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with costs. The Petitioners are directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) towards costs to the Chief Justice Relief Fund.
