ORDER

This civil revision petition has been filed as against the order, dated 03.01.2017, passed in Section 5 petition for condonation of delay of 557 days in filing an appeal as against the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.284 of 2009.

2. Both the parties viz., revision petitioner / defendant and the respondent / plaintiff are daughter-in-law and mother-in-law respectively. When the matter came up for hearing on 29.01.2018, considering the relationship of the parties and also considering the request of the learned counsel for both sides, this Court directed both the parties to appear before this Court for mediation. Accordingly, the matter was mediated between the parties. When the matter came up for hearing today, both the parties along with their respective counsel appeared and they produced a joint compromise memo, dated 12.03.2018, in which it is stated that the revision petitioner / defendant received Rs.40,000/- as full and final settlement towards her maintenance for future life from the respondent / plaintiff and the revision https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner / defendant has agreed to hand over the possession of the house property. Both the parties have also agreed to withdraw their petitions and cases filed before the Courts below. The joint compromise memo, dated 12.03.2018, is recorded and the same shall form part and parcel of this order.
