ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2.It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation dated 03.04.2024, to initiate action against the corrupt activities that took place in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Act MGNREGA at K.Duraisamipuram Village in Pudur Panchayat Union Taluk of Thoouthukudi District, is kept pending till date without any progress. Therefore, he has filed this Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer. 3/6
3.Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1, 2 & 4 to 7, on instructions, submits that enquiry has been conducted by the fourth respondent and the same has been concluded and the matter is pending before the second respondent for passing final orders and appropriate orders would be passed on its own merits within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the claim of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, by considering the enquiry report submitted by the fourth respondent, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
