Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.2 to consider the claim of the writ petitioner for appointment to the post of Assistant in the respondent Co-operative Institutions in pursuance to the participation in the interview held on 27.01.2013 within the time period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to direct the second respondent to consider the claim of the writ petitioner for appointment to the post of Assistant in the respondent Co-operative institutions, pursuant to the participation in the interview held on 27.01.2013. 2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that pursuant to the recruitment notification issued for appointment to the post of Assistant, the writ petitioner participated and attended the interview. the result regarding the selection is yet to be notified. The reason for delay in declaring the result, is also not stated. This apart, whether the process of selection has been concluded or cancelled is also not made clear by the respondents. 3.Appointment can never be claimed as a matter of right. All appointments are to be made strictly in accordance with rules in force. In the event of publication of selection list, if the writ petitioner is selected on merits as well as by following the rule of reservation, then the case of the writ petitioner is to be considered for appointment.

4.Under these circumstances, if the writ petitioner is selected in the process of selection and fully qualified for appointment, then the case is to be considered along with all other candidates, who are selected, pursuant to the said recruitment notification.

5.With these observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
