PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to provide alternative employment to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2018. Mr.D.Sivaraman learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents seeks time to get instructions.

3. Considering the nature of the order to be passed , this Court is of the view that based on the affidavit averments the writ petition can be disposed of.

4.The petitioner is employed as a driver in the respondent corporation. Unfortunately he met with two accidents. Therefore his health condition has been badly affected and he seeks alternate employment. In this regard, he has given a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation dated 05.03.2018 to the first respondent. The first respondent is directed is consider the said representation after referring the petitioner to the Medical Board . Such an order shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is allowed accordingly. No costs.
