2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner herein wants to serve as the panchayat President. Whereas, it is a common knowledge that the posts of President, Vice President, etc., are no more in existence and therefore, this Court is of the view that no further order is required to be passed in this petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
