ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with Crime No.80 of 2024 for the offence under Section 269 of IPC and Sections 6(b) and 24(1) of Cigarette and other Tobacco Act, 2003, have filed this 1/3

petition.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of banned tobacco products.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocents and they have been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police strongly opposes for grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that the first petitioner has four previous cases to his credit and the second petitioner has three previous cases to his credit.

5.Considering the antecedents of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6.Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
