This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents to file a final report in Crime No. 114 of 2018 dated 16/09/2018 on the file of the third respondent.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming upon for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.Chandrasekar, Additional Public Prosecutor for the Petitioners and of Mr.V.Elangovan, Advocate for the respondent, this Court made the following order:

This petition has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to complete the investigation in Crime No.114 of 2018.

2.This Court has already disposed of the Criminal Original Petition by order dated 23.01.2020 and directed the third respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.114 of 2018, pending on his file and file a final report within a period of two https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

CRL MP(MD). No.3690 of 2020 months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now the Investigation Officer requests further time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

3.Considering the current situation, this Court is inclined to grant further time and accordingly, three months time is granted for completing the investigation in Crime No.114 of 2018 pending on his file and file a final report.
