ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to de-silt the sluice, which is located at Alavanthanpatti to Nethajipuram Road, near Masanakali Temple, Poyyalur Panchayat for the irrigation of the petitioner's land in Survey Nos.299/3, 299/6, 299/8 and 300/1 to an extent of 1 acre 63 cents situated at Koothalur Revenue Group, Poyyalur Village Panchayat, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the representations of the petitioner dated 28.03.2022, 09.01.2023 and 13.02.2023 made to the 1st respondent and dated 12.02.2023 made to the 2nd respondent within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2/4
2.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3.Without expressing any opinion on merits of this Writ Petition, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.02.2023 and take appropriate action to de-silt the sluice in question, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
