ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent particularly the second and third respondents / Tahsildar and Surveyor, of Kadavur Taluk Office, Karur District, to survey and earmark the four boundaries of the lands of the property of the petitioner at S.No.1235/1C in Patta No.147 of T.Idaiyapatti East, Kadavur Taluk, Karur district.

2. The petitioner had given a representation on 21.03.2023 but had applied online on 15.03.2023. In the affidavit filed it had been stated that the said land originally belonged to the father of the petitioner, by name Veeran who died on 07.05.2012. Thereafter the petitioner and his brothers are in possession and enjoyment of the property herein.

3. A direction is given to the respondents to issue notice not only to the petitioner but also to the brothers of the petitioner and thereafter, proceed to survey the land, after getting no objection from the brothers and other members of the family of the petitioner herein. If there are objections, the same may be noted and a report may be filed giving reasons for not conducing survey. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of 16 weeks from the date of 2/4

receipt of a copy of this order.
