PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to issue a direction to expedite the trial in C.C.No.17 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pudukkottai, Pudukkottai District.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pudukkottai, Pudukkottai District, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.17 of 2020.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) would submit that the case is at the stage of examination of witnesses.

3. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pudukkottai, Pudukkottai District, to dispose the case pending in C.C.No.17 of 2020 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.
