ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.143 of 2020, dated 31.07.2020 and to file the final report within a time limit stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police registered the FIR in Crime No.143 of 2020 and the Final Report was presented before the jurisdictional Court as mistake of fact.

4. However, the copy application that was filed by the petitioner shows that on the date of copy application namely 16.03.2023, the Final Report was not presented before the jurisdictional Court by the respondent Police. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor is directed 2/4

to get instruction with regard to the above said Final Report. In the mean time, RCS notice shall be served upon the petitioner, so that he can workout the remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5. With the above direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
