O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection on the date of survey of the petitioner's land i.e. on 28.04.2022 scheduled as per the notice of the Tahsildar, Usilampatti, dated 11.04.2022 based on petitioner's representation, dated 21.04.2022.

2. The petitioner owned a property to an extent of 61 cents situated in Survey No.23/6B, Patta No.1649 at Ayyanarkulam Village & Post, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District. However, some unknown persons / anti-social elements disturbed his possession and enjoyment of the same by using their man and money power. Therefore, the petitioner acquired the survey land before the concerned Authority. However, the respondents 2 to 5 are obstructing to survey the land.

3. In view of the above facts and circumstances, on the application to survey the land with requisite fees, if any surveyor is appointed by the Authority concerned and if the Surveyor finds any hindrance while surveying the land, the Surveyor can very well seek for police protection before the first respondent. CRL.O.P (MD) No.7729 of 2022 request, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 2 to 5 herein and pass orders to provide adequate police protection to survey the land.

4. With these directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
