ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Civil Revision Petition to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai to expedite the trial in HMOP.No.180 of 2011 on its file, within the stipulated period of time.

2. The revision petitioner who is the wife has filed HMOP.No.180 of 2011 on the file of the Sub Court, Pudukkottai for divorce. The respondent filed counter in the HMOP on 11.06.2012 and from that date onwards, the HMOP is being adjourned without any progress. Therefore, the petitioner has come out with the present revision.

4. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

5. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed and the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai is directed to dispose of HMOP.No.180 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 30th June 2017. No costs.
