This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 307, 323, 341, 427 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code on the basis of the petitioner complaint, dated 25.01.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has given a complaint by post to the respondent police whereas the occurrence took place within the jurisdiction of Thenkarai Police Station, Theni District.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to go in person before the Inspector of Police, Thenkarai Police Station, Theni District and lodge a fresh complaint containing the same contents as found in the complaint, dated 25.01.2016 and on receipt of such complaint, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.
