This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioners and their family members from the respondents 3 to 7.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that 1/3
there exists a property dispute and civil dispute between the parties, for which the petitioners have sent a complaint to the first and second respondents through registered post on 19.04.2021 to take necessary action and to give adequate police protection for the life of the petitioners and his property, but, the same was not considered by the respondents/ police. Hence, the present petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that there was a property dispute and civil dispute between the petitioners and the respondents 3 to 7. Based on which, the petitioners have sent a complaint dated 19.04.2021 to the respondents 1 and 2 through registered post and it is pending. He further submitted that the representation of the petitioners, dated 19.04.2021 will be considered by the respondents/police.
4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents/Police are directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 19.04.2021 by following the due process of law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
